Recent Consultancy Projects
Successful projects we have undertaken include:
- Design and delivery of 2 custom-made, ILM accredited, management qualifications for a large housing association
- Set up and managed a network of 110 West Yorkshire Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary organisations, involved in learning delivery
- Led a successful partnership bid of 28 organisations, to provide traineeships across West Yorkshire
- Development of a major attendance improvement strategy for a large local authority, resulting in a year on year reduction of days lost from sickness absence, with manager and staff training and the production of an accessible toolkit for managers and supervisors
- Design of easy to use, fair and transparent recruitment procedures for employers ranging from 30 to 20,000 employees
- Advised the board of directors of a community organisation on difficult staffing issues which had led to an Employment Tribunal case
- Development of a quality assurance system for small furniture-making company, reducing error rates and waste by 25% in 6 months
- Design, launch and application of a Work-Life Balance strategy, practical polices and procedures for public sector organisation, including training for top 250 senior managers; now rating excellent in staff survey
- Impact assessment of Police Authority policies, procedures and duties to support compliance with their duties under the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, followed by coaching to ensure key staff equipped to continue this process
- Development and delivery of CPD programme for whole Personnel/HR team
- Introduction of Workforce Planning methodology in a major public organisation
- Specification and evaluation of contracts for outsourcing which complied with Employment legislation
- Development and introduction of a suite of discipline, grievance and capability procedures
- Evaluation of Learning and Skills Council funded project to assess value for money, effectiveness, impact and sustainability
